IMTA: Funding flexibility

The Instructional Materials and Technology Allotment provides broader purchasing flexibility, subject to statutory requirements and your district’s purchasing procedures.

IMRA: Review and approval

IMRA is the state review and approval process, not a funding source. Approval status can affect eligibility for certain funding pathways.

What if my district is not listed?

An unlisted district does not necessarily lack a purchasing option. The entries reflect the contract information supplied for this resource, with past or unclear expiration dates excluded. What is a purchasing organization or purchasing cooperative?

A purchasing cooperative is a buying group that establishes contracts for its eligible members. Examples include TexBuy, Epic 6, and TIPS. If your district is an eligible member and RGR holds an applicable active contract, your business office may be able to purchase covered materials through that agreement rather than conduct a separate local RFP. Confirm membership, contract scope, and applicable purchasing requirements with your district’s purchasing office before ordering.

Can my district use a cooperative agreement?

Confirm your district’s membership or eligibility with your purchasing office before relying on a cooperative agreement. An ESC or cooperative listing shows the agreement on file, not every district that can use it. Kevin can help you review the listed materials and your next purchasing steps.

Does IMRA approval determine every funding option?

IMRA is a review and approval process, not a funding source. Approval status can affect eligibility for certain HB 1605 funding pathways. Does an awarded contract mean our district already uses RGR?
